  I went to see Dr. Yoon because I had don my research and felt as if I had a thyroid condition. She did the typical tests and said my thyroid was 'normal'. I complained that hair was falling out, fatigue and weight gain. I did additional research and called the office back to see if they tested the antibodies for Hashimoto's. I was told no. I asked if they would and I was told they only do those tests if I was really sick and in the hospital, which is exactly what I was trying to prevent. I found another dr who did a full thyroid panel and it was found that I have Hashimoto, an autoimmune disease. Just very sad that doctors these days have no real interest in helping people.

  Will not accept patients without a Baylor doctor referral. My insurance does not require a referral but she does and will only accept one from a Baylor doctor.

  She's great. Tiny, and looks so very young, and I'm only 43, but they all look young these days. I moved here 3 1/2 years ago, after having both lobes of my thryroid taken out over the course of around a year, several years ago. Although there was a micrcarcinoma found in the right lobe, I was told I was fine. So far, I am. YAY! But I'm fairly skittish with the big C, and I think we all have a right to be. She didn't treat me.like I was a hypochondriac, or anything. She got me in for an ultrasound, because I was already overdue for one, and she wanted to have it for herself. She told me, basically the same things my two doctors in OKC had told me before, but in a non-condescescending way, too make sure I was good with everything. She tweaked my dosage on Levothyroxine a bit, and that was that. Loved her! Very nice staff as well.
